Sunday Morning Packet Pick Up

Details

Sunday Morning Packet Pick Up and Registration. You'll help check-in and register athletes for the event. Some lifting maybe required for set up and breakdown of Packet Pick Up. Please consider volunteering for another race day position since this is a relatively short volunteer period. Course Marshall or Water Station would work.

Time: 6am to 7:30am

Location

Bethany Beach Bandstand, Garfield Parkway & Boardwalk.

On Course Marshall

At least 12 more volunteers needed.

Details

You'll be at a specific location on the race course. You'll be responsible for keeping runners on course and reporting an issues or emergencies that may occur in your area. You will not be responsible for direction vehicle traffic, only runners and walkers.

Time: 7am to 8:30am

Location

Your position will be assigned at the Volunteer Meeting prior to the race.

Water Station

At least 9 more volunteers needed.

Details

You'll be that person that holds a water cup out for runners to grab out of your hand. You'll need to be at the water station at 7am to set up and prep about 500 cups half full of water.

Time: 7am to 8am

Adjacent to PNC Bank on Atlantic Ave.

Post Race Food Set Up/Service

Details

Jobs will include food and beverage set up/breakdown, making sure area stays full with food items and breakdown of area once post race party and awards are complete.

Time: 6:30am to 9:30am

Race Clean Up/Strike

Details

You'll help clean up the finish line and after party/award ceremony. There will be lifting of boxes, tables and race items.
